Both of these are important, but in vastly different ways. Those who are Treacherous set out to harm you and others, often through lies and backstabbing. The Fake, though? Those are tricky. They make you believe what they want you to believe, and in following their version of the truth, you stray farther and farther from your goal.
Be on guard, Christian. Love always. Guard still.

Covid is making a comeback, China is raging, and some claim the climate is on the brink. It appears it may be the end of the world as we know it, but the question is do you feel fine?

The effects of a lack of self-control are obvious: when we don’t control our eating, we gain weight. When we don’t control our spending, we go into debt. When we don’t control our emotions, we become a wreck. The list goes on and on.
There’s a reason Self-Control is listed as a Fruit of the Spirit - it’s vital to our success *and* our testimony. Today, Pastor Greg explains the biblical basis for growing in our discipline, running to win the prize, and walking by faith (and not by sight).

Pride before the fall

Thursday Jul 21, 2022

Thursday Jul 21, 2022

The Bible warns in the last days pride will abound. We all know people struggle with pride. Is it possible you do? In this podcast we will look at the impact of pride in our lives, in our country and in the church.

Do you know anyone who doesn’t appreciate what they are given, but instead feel like it was owed to them all along? It’s rampant! The scary thing is the creep of it: we can all start out grateful for our job, our spouse, our car, our house — but in a matter of time, complacency sneaks in, and we start complaining about little things.
Jesus told an entire parable about ungratefulness, and we see it throughout the Old and New Testaments alike. Today, we’ll explore how God the Father and Jesus the Son both responded to entitled attitudes, and talk about how we can grow into the gratitude He guides us towards.
Scriptures today: 2 Timothy 3:1-5 // Matthew 20:1-16 // Jonah 4:1-11 // Luke 17:11-19 // Philippians 4:11-13 // Luke 6:35

Last week we talked about how people can be lovers of self. One vital aspect of that which we need to dig into is the love of money. While money itself is not evil, the love of it is: when healthcare is focused more on profits than healthcare, it’s a problem. When higher education is focused more on profits than education, it’s a problem. The list goes on and on ad nauseam.
It’s easy to point fingers, but we need to take the time to examine ourselves as well. Do we have the relationship with money that we should? Are we generous people? Are we supporting things the way we should? Or are we building our castles on sand? Today we’ll explore Biblical principles for living… adequately. Let’s study and grow in how to say “this is enough” and “how can I use this best, Lord?”
Scriptures today: 2 Timothy 3:1-5 // 2 Corinthians 9:11 // Hebrews 13:5 // 1 Timothy 6:10 // Matthew 6:24 // Luke 12:15 // Matthew 6:19-21 // Matthew 19:23 // Matthew 13:54-55 // Proverbs 22:11

A Google Spanking

Wednesday Jul 06, 2022

Wednesday Jul 06, 2022

Corporate giants continue to limit free speech. Hear how we have been silenced and many others like Jordan Peterson have as well. We will explore how all of this ties into the Apostle Paul’s warning that in the final days people will act rashly and to have nothing to do with such people.

Sunday Jul 03, 2022

“Have nothing to do with such people.” We’re not talking about the obvious ones (murderers, rapists, and devil-worshippers), but rather… people who appear relatively good, but have… flaws. Glaring flaws. Flaws important enough to be scripturally highlighted.
Today we start a new series on the things we should stay completely away from. Welcome to a new kind of Quarantine. These viruses can kill you.
