A Discussion on Death

Events of this past week with Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills suffering cardiac arrest on the football field made us all consider our own mortality. In this episode we talk death and talk about why we must all talk about death and come to terms with our own mortality because through that we will ultimately turn to God.

“Woe to You Unrepentant Cities” (“Lesser Known Quotes of Jesus” Week 7 of 8)

There is a common message today about a Jesus who accepts everyone and everything. The thing that people DON’T talk about is how forgiveness requires repentance, and that’s what we’re seeing Jesus talk about today. In one of these towns, Jesus healed a blind man with mud, yet they refused to hear His message and repent. How much proof do we need? How many blessings do we want before we consider salvation a ‘fair’ trade? Woe to the unrepentant who knew better and did not turn. Woe to those who know and do not turn. Today, as we begin a new year, may we have ears to hear.

Jesus said he did not come to bring peace but division. Insanity continues in our country as a Stanford comes out with a list of 400 words that are no longer to be used in our language. We must continue to push back against such woke nonsense.

Do I have to forgive when someone isn’t sorry?

Forgiveness in the Bible is tied to repentance. When forgiveness is offered without any sorrow it is simply acceptance. One of the huge problems in society is we are just supposed to simply accept everyone and everything regardless of there is acknowledgment of wrong doing. In this episode we will talk about what forgiveness truly is and how it cannot be understood apart from repentance.

“Laodecia… Lukewarm!” (“Lesser Known Quotes of Jesus” Week 4 of 7)

“You aren’t horrible, you just aren’t good.” That’s how Pastor Greg summarizes Jesus’ words to the church in Laodecia in Revelations. Of course, this passage is more commonly referred to as the “lukewarm” passage: “neither hot nor cold - I will spit you out of my mouth.” Not a pretty picture, especially when you compare the context of Laodecia to the content of America. This present evil

Evil continues to become ever more normalized in society. You may feel like it is useless to stand up against it, but stand up against it we must.

There was a period of history where God, Yahweh, claimed the people Israel as His people, as other nations had forsaken Him over time. Jesus upended that tradition, as the Scriptures teach us that salvation is for all who are willing to receive.
Christians tend to throw around the phrase of being “born again,” but we seldom talk about what that really means; whether it’s the transformational aspect of new life breathing in or the working aspect of a faith lived out, today we want to explore what Jesus means when He says “no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water AND the Spirit.” Stay tuned for this important message!

When a nation forgets God

When a nation forgets God the nation will continue to descend into more dysfunction and moral chaos until it ultimately destroys itself. That is the path we are on. Is there still hope?
