Signs of the Times: Peace and Safety

"While people are saying, 'peace and safety,' destruction will come on them suddenly." Scripture is pretty straightforward about this sign of end times approaching: we are called to live here with the hope and expectation of life hereafter, and if doing the right thing means forfeiting our comforts here and now, so be it. Now more than ever, "peace and safety" has been a rallying cry. While we never encourage recklessness or irresponsibility, we need to seriously examine scripture's urgings to live righteously regardless of the costs.
